What is a Guardian Angel?
A Guardian Angel is a special person that sponsors a kennel at the shelter or an animal placed in a foster home. The period of sponsorship can be one month ($30), three months ($90), six months ($120), or twelve months ($200). |

Why should I become a Guardian Angel?
People become Guardian Angels for a number of reasons.Some people wish they could take home every animal at the shelter. Becoming a Guardian Angel is a way to help an animal find a home. Guardian Angel sponsorship provides food, keeps kennels clean,and ensures that every animal is seen by a veterinarian (with the help of our volunteer Visiting Vets)until that special person comes through the door to take them home. Becoming a Guardian Angel is also a way of showing your support for the shelter. Hundreds of people will see your Guardian Angel sign hanging on a kennel door or next to a photo of a cat or dog in a foster home. |

What happens when I become an Angel?
Once the Humane Society receives your sponsorship form, a placard is placed on either a cat or dog kennel or by a photo of an animal in a foster home. After your "Wings" have been placed,we will send you a letter. |

Can I make someone else a Guardian Angel?
Guardian Angel Sponsorship makes a great gift of the heart. After the placard is placed,a card acknowleding the gift will be sent to the recipient , or to you if you choose to deliver the gift yourself. The card may include a brief message, if you wish. |
